Leading German manufacturer Agrob Buchtal has teamed up with leading European designer Sebastian Herkner (2019 Maison&Objet Designer of the Year) to design the new Area Pro range of floor and wall tiles. Inspired by natural limestone, the Area Pro tile range is available in 12 colours that take inspiration from earthy tones. 

Slip-resistances range from R10/A through to R12V4, and this is where the range becomes compelling. R12V4 surfaces, which are a must in commercial applications with significant liquids present, are normally tiled with industrial looking products lacking visual appeal. The new Area Pro range incorporates a textured surface called “The Grid” that is attractive while still satisfying the requirements of a V rated surface.

A large range of accessories are available, including ceramic channel covers, wall tiles in three complementary colours (white, grey and beige), stair tiles, internal and external corners and coved skirtings.

Area Pro is available as sheeted mosaics, or rectangular, square or plank formats, plus extra-large formats: 60 × 90 cm, 60 × 120 cm and 90 × 90 cm.

Area Pro tiles come with Agrob Buchtal’s sustainable Hytect technology, which makes the tiles antibacterial, stain resistant and easy to clean.
