LAB 27 explores the potential of designing with and for people with diverse neurodevelopmental disabilities and physical disabilities.
llianna Ginnis of Monash University and Coral Gillett, Matthew McShane and Camila Shirota of the Hopkins Centre, in conversation with convener Kali Marnane and Justine Clark, will explore the potential of neurodivergence and disability as a creative generator, and how this can both enable design and remove potential marginalisation.
This event, hosted by Parlour, aims to provide tools and strategies for meaningful design, as well as methods for appropriate engagement and interaction with people with neurodevelopmental disabilities during the design process.
This is a one-hour online event to be held on 19 April from 9.30 am in Western Australia; 11 am in the Northern Territory; 11.30 am in Queensland; 12 pm in South Australia, and 12.30 pm in New South Wales, Victoria, Australian Capital Territory and Tasmania.
