Our Houses Sydney

A conversation between architects and their clients.

Our Houses is a nationwide program that offers architecture enthusiasts the chance to go behind the scenes to see how architects collaborate with their clients.

This “conversation between architects and their clients” is coming to Brickworks Design Studio in Sydney on 27 August.

Queensland architect Paul Owen will be discussing his Brisbane Riverbank House with owner David Lim, a dermatologist and an avid car collector. The house was named joint winner of the Award for House Alteration and Addition over 200m2 in the 2019 Houses Awards.

Sydney architect David Welsh share the story behind the Hush House, an adaptation of a two-bedroom Federation semi for his client, former Harpers Bazaar editor-in-chief Kellie Hush.

Architects attending can earn two formal CPD points. For further information and tickets, head here.

Our Houses is a Design Speaks program organized by Architecture Media with presenting partner Brickworks.
