Be Informed Briefing Sydney: An Audience with the NSW Building Commissioner

Informed by Planned Cover, together with the NSW Institute of Architects, invites you attend a seminar presented by the recently appointed NSW Building Commissioner – David Chandler.

As Building Commissioner, Chandler’s role is to provide strategic oversight of building regulation and regulatory changes as well as being an advocate for building industry reform. In this seminar, Chandler will share his thoughts on the future of the architecture profession:

  • What kind of architects will be in demand in a modern construction industry?
  • Is the “architect-centric” project model outdated?
  • What new skills and knowledge will architects of the future require to be relevant to the building process?

Following David’s presentation, there will be an opportunity for audience questions.

CPD: 1 formal hour
